Family Documentary Session at Chester Creek Trail - Anchorage, Alaska Family Photography - Moss and Myrrh Photography, Anchorage
Now that the snow is here I figured it was a great time to blog a session that showed off those gorgeous Fall leaves we won't see again for another year. Haha! Sorry for the torture, but this family is absolutely adorable and needs to be shared!
Every year I donate a gift certificate to be auctioned off at the Alaska SPCA Spayghetti auction. This was my third year donating but only the first time anyone had used their gift certificate. What even! So, I was pretty excited when this sweet family called to say they wanted to book their fall session. Um, yes, please! At this point the leaves were completely gone in the mountains and in Eagle River, but Anchorage still had a few stray trees with leaves. Chester Creek was gorgeous and I'm so glad I got to work there before we saw the complete end to Fall.
I think it's really important you guys see an "unposed" family session from start to finish. I literally just took a walk with this family, had them hold and snuggle their baby, all while just being them.
Until next year, leaves. Until next year. <3
